Megan Lasure named HR director at Greene County Health Care
Greene County Health Care recently named Megan Lasure to the position of Human Resources director. She started April 1.
As Human Resources (HR) director, Mrs. Lasure will supervise the organization’s HR department, including compensation, benefits, training and development, employee relations and management, recruitment and strategic planning for HR. She also serves as a member of the Management Team at Greene County Health Care (GCHC).
Mrs. Lasure comes to Greene County Health Care (GCHC) from Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where she served for more than three years as a Human Resources business partner. Her 18 years of experience in Human Resources have focused primarily in health care, including serving as HR director for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in West Virginia. Greene County Health Care is also an FQHC.
She has a master’s degree in Industrial and Employee Relations from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Holy Family University in Philadelphia.
“I’m excited about coming back to community health centers, where I want to focus,” Mrs. Lasure says. “My passion is FQHCs. I enjoy serving and supporting the people who take care of our community. I want to grow and develop the people in our organization. That’s my heart’s work.”
“Greene County Health Care continues to grow in serving the needs of our community and our staff,” says CEO Doug Smith. “We believe Megan’s experience with FQHCs and in employee relations well positions us in making Greene County Health Care both an employer and provider of choice.”
