Quality Grants total $96,852 to Greene County Health Care

Greene County Health Care (GCHC) is one of 37 health centers in the state to receive quality improvement grants.

GCHC received a total of $96,852 from three areas: Clinical Quality Improvers, Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality and Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition.

GCHC’s grants recognized the organization for improving Clinical Quality Measures, using Health Information Technology to increase access to care and quality of care, and for earning Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition in at least one center. Greene County Health Care has PCMH recognition at all sites in Greene, Pitt and Pamlico counties.

Quality Improvement Awards are one-time grants that recognize the highest performing health centers and those that have made significant quality improvement gains from the previous year.
